I’m a Mexican food junkie. I love chips & salsa and I could eat them every day. The ironic thing is, I don’t get them at my favorite Mexican food restaurant.
Caminero has been a staple at 83rd Ave & Deer Valley for as long as I can remember. As in line fast casual Mexican food restaurants go, they’re the best and you can skip all the ‘berto’s’ places and head here instead.
The carnitas are always a good choice, but I seem to always get a #8 combo (DICED STEAK SAUTEED W/ PICO INCLUDES TORTILLAS & GUACAMOLE) the last few times I have been there. I would like to try other items on their menu, but my FOMO kicks in because this item is just so dang good I don’t want to regret not getting it.
They recently remodeled as well and they have nice new tables & chairs as well as new flooring, plus they have two beautiful murals in the dining area.
Located on the northeast corner of 83rd Ave & Deer Valley, on the west side of the complex, just around the corner Albertson’s.
