The City of Peoria has received approval for major upgrades to 67th Ave between Happy Valley Road & Pinnacle Peak Road. Roadway construction is anticipated to begin Fall of 2022 and last approximately 12 to 18 months.
The project will include an improved storm water drainage system and basins connecting the regional network to mitigate flooding, a third traffic lane in each direction to 67th Avenue, new bike lanes and waterline, underground utility lines, raised medians, new roadway lighting and landscaping, as well as ADA-compliant sidewalks.
The project will also require relocation of existing electric, gas and communication lines.
