Originally founded in Boca Raton, Florida, in 2015, Bruce Newman and his co-partner created I Heart Mac & Cheese as “two guys who love mac and cheese and wanted to do something different in their careers.”
Along with being a fast-casual macaroni and cheese spot, Newman wanted the restaurant to have more of an impact on the community, showing active support for charities in the local area.
Now with the chain’s newest location coming to Glendale, he hopes to continue that trend, all while being a family-friendly spot that everyone can enjoy.
Opened on Oct. 2, I Heart Mac & Cheese creates made-to-order macaroni and cheese bowls, grilled cheese sandwiches and a variety of other health-conscious options.
