Residents are welcome to participate in a public packing party in Glendale for care packages for military members.
Packages From Home, located at 5643 N. 52nd Ave., sends care packages to deployed American military heroes and facilitates activities that elevate morale of all veterans.
The packing party goes from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 19 on site at the Glendale facility.
