Breaking from tradition of Glendale Glitters, the City of Glendale will host “Murphy Park Lights.” The new event will include holiday lights only in the city’s downtown park and live entertainment in the park’s amphitheater on weekends from Nov. 19 to Jan. 9.
Murphy Park Lights will kick off Nov. 19 with a lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Lights will turn on nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 9.
A 20-foot walk-through snowman and a 30-foot high tree that lights up to music will illuminate the park.
