HELP DRAW THE NEW COUNCIL DISTRICTS
‘Every ten years, the City of Glendale is required to redraw its City Council districts based on U.S. Census data. The process is called redistricting and the goal is to make sure each Council district has approximately equal population. Glendale’s population increased by 21,604 since the last Census. With six Council districts and a population of 248,325, the ideal number of people in each Glendale district is 41,388. Click here to see the current district map and the 2020 Census population numbers for each district.
Community workshops can be attended in person or viewed live on the City’s YouTube and Facebook channels. All voices matter in this process and greater participation can lead to a more transparent and representative experience for all Glendale residents.’
